Cornish Art in the Westcountry

There are many art and craft galleries and studios in the far south west of Cornwall. Many artists are attracted to the area because of its unusual light and beautiful scenery. All the work in the Round House in Sennen Cove is from Cornwall, by local artists who draw their inspiration from the unique location and history of this isolated part of Great Britain.
	The Tate art gallery in St Ives opened in June 1993 and offers a unique introduction to modern art, where many works can be viewed in the surroundings and atmosphere which inspired them. Other art and craft shops and studios can be found in St Ives, Mousehole, Penzance, St Just and just about everywhere - seek and ye shall find!
Churches include the Church of England Parish in Sennen and St Buryan with other faith services advertised in the local papers. Other local events can be found in the Cornishman newspaper or Tourist Information office and keep your eye on the Sennen Cove web site for up to the minute information.
