Classic Cottages

Being on the peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic, Celtic Sea and the English Channel Sennen attracts an abundance of wildlife.

Sennen is a superb bird watching area with migrating birds often stopping over and can be seen on the Cowloes or the cliffs to Land’s End. Boat trips on the Talisound run regularly from Sennen Cove where you can see Storm-petrel, Manx Shearwater, Gannets and often much rarer birds at close quarters.

The Bosun's Locker is ideally situated to observe Sennen Cove's wildlife directly from the comfort of the cottage.

Great Shearwater
Seal on Cowloe Seals are common visitors to the cove and can be seen in and around the rocks and surf. Dolphins can be seen in the bay and occasionally basking sharks and other large sea creatures.

Wild flowers and grasses in the area are present all year round with primroses and Daffodils in spring and fauna such as spiny starfish, blue rayed limpets and Velella (by-the-wind sailors).

If you like watching and exploring nature Sennen is the place to be.
